Founded by Andy Hogg and Andrea Bizzaro, the company is still run from its headquarters at Mfuwe Lodge by Andy – a Zambian who used to work at Save the Rhino Trust’s Chinzombo Lodge in Luangwa.

Located on the banks of an oxbow lagoon which is frequented by game all year round (the lagoon is abundant with game during the hotter months) and raised on a wooden deck, Chindeni’s 4 magnificent en-suite canvas tents have private decks from which guests can view the resident big game or simply enjoy the extensive birdlife and serenity of the lagoon.

Committed

For many years the safari operators in the Luangwa Valley have been working with the South Luangwa Conservation Society (SLCS) and North Luangwa Conservation Project (NLCP) to ensure continued conservation. The Bushcamp Company also run individual educational and conservation programs in the community with great success including "Charity Begins At Home".
