Availability to Odzala Discovery Camps is based on access.

Access to Odzala-Kokoua National Park is via a scheduled flight between Brazzaville and Mboko airstrip on Mondays and Thursdays weekly.

We have compiled 4-night, 7-night and 10-night Discoveries that tie in perfectly with these scheduled flights.

Sangha Discovery: 2020: US$ 13 100 pps (10 nights = 7 Sangha + 3 Odzala)
Congo Basin Discovery: 2020: US$ 14 690 pps (11 nights = 7 Odzala + 4 Sangha)
Discoveries start and end in Brazzaville, include all internal scheduled flights, transfers, accommodation, meals, drinks, activities, park, conservation & immigration admin fees (excludes Visa fees), and gorilla tracking permits.

GETTING THERE
FROM BRAZZAVILLE: International flights arrive at Maya Maya Airport where guests are met and assisted by a member of the Odzala team. From there a 2-hour scheduled flight transfers guests to Mboko airstrip in Odzala-Kokoua National Park every Monday and Thursday. Private charter flights can be arranged for other days of the week.

HOW EXCLUSIVE
Ngaga Camp and Lango Camp consist of 6 chalets each, with Mboko Camp as the base camp, consisting of 12 chalets including 2 family chalets.

CHILDREN
Children 16 years and older are welcome at Odzala Discovery Camps.

WHAT TO DO
Western lowland gorilla tracking, guided rainforest bird & night walks, walking, boating, kayaking and wading through streams, rivers, swamps and bais. Spectacular viewings of rare species, including forest elephant, forest buffalo, bongo, sitatunga and western lowland gorillas.

Odzala-Kokoua National Park is part of the second largest coherent rainforest area on earth, hence this piece of Central Africa has a significant impact on our global climate, and the existence of all life. The heavily forested landscape is characterised by networks of swamps, bais and rivers making it the ideal habitat of western lowland gorillas.

Skilled local trackers will lead you in search of gorillas accustomed (through years of patient research) to being approached by humans.
