Congo Conservation Company, operating Odzala Discovery Camps, is the first of its kind tourism business in Congo-Brazzaville, and is owned by international business woman and philanthropist, Sabine Plattner. Sabine is a board member of the Leadership for Conservation in Africa (LCA) and has taken an innovative approach to pioneering eco-tourism in the Congo Basin.

Odzala-Kokoua National Park is a lowland rainforest characterised by a network of bais, rivers, marshes and swamps. This vast and truly wild region, with its wide range of landscapes and habitat, is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife. Forest elephant, leopard, bongo, forest buffalo, giant forest hog and hippo live alongside the greatest density of western lowland gorilla in Africa.

Odzala Discovery Camps and the Congo Conservation Company support the Sabine Plattner Africa Charities (SPAC) conservation efforts around Odzala-Kokoua National Park. These private organisations are integral to the conservation of the natural symbiosis between the rainforest, local people and wildlife in Odzala-Kokoua National Park.
